The Tremendous Benefits of Writing It Out. Content Warning.
Over the course of last few hours, I’ve just been writing nonstop. If you take a look at my latest posts, you’ll likely gather really quickly that I haven’t been feeling the greatest lately. I’ve decided to make this third story a little more candid than the poem I posted earlier this evening, which was… descriptive, yet vague.

I left.
In the midst of all of the chaos, I left you behind. At your most vulnerable point, when you needed me the most, I packed my shit and I left. It was one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made. I wish I’d had more time to think about what to say in the short note I left, but I had no idea how long you’d be distracted on that work call.

If You Can Have Another Drink, You Can Write Another Paragraph
UPDATE: 7/12/22 - This story has sat in my drafts for a good while, and I had completely forgotten about its existence. I hardly remember writing it, but it definitely spoke to me. Since I initially wrote this piece, I am in a much better place, and it's nice to have this as a reminder of how far I've come, even though it may at times seem as though I haven't made much progress at all.

I was put here...
As it stands, I am the physical result of an over-worker. The need for financial success has weighed heavily on my body, leaving me an achy, sore, pile of organs and bones. Today, I have peace and clarity of mind, and I know that something greater will come from all of the effort that I've put in.

Netflix’s ‘Fear Street’ Trilogy: A Review
Yesterday, I binge-watched all three parts to Netflix’s “Fear Street” trilogy, directed by Leigh Janiak and based on the novels by R.L. Stine from the 90’s. I have to say, going in, I was a bit skeptical, but the more the trilogy progressed, the more hooked I became.
