Deep blue shores Push and pull seamlessly Wading through the shallow waters Crisp waters bringing to life The awareness of the body
Crystal clear The image of my father A message to the one before me

Stale air and no satisfaction Next days errands come to mind Another common house party Fails to capture my attention
As I pause and stare At what nature comes to bear I stop

How many times has this come up To be honest I've lost count Through thick and thin Better or worse
Arising from a restless repose as my prescribed worker begins its course Continuing my struggle to get up I turn on my phone to look up
The argument echo's across the hall Sneaking through closed doors and booming televisions Carrying the weight of broken trust and broken boundaries
At the start of the setting dusk our feelings begin to run amok As I stop and stare at the stars in front of me
