Dear Younger Self
I’m writing online now. First on Quora, now Medium. Remember that blog on Blogger you first created just to imitate that cool cousin you admired? You posted all kinds of random stuff with designs you liked, but now it’s long gone. But don’t worry, I write better now, those honestly were just nonsense you posted for the sake of posting and having texts anyways. Your diary was still better.

8 Of The Most Ridiculous Scenes I've Ever Dreamt Of
So our dreams don't always make sense. They just don't. They're ridiculous. Most of the time, I remember my dreams very vividly even if it's been a while. Whenever I dream of something that was funny or made me go wtf, I tend to share it with my friends and share that laugh. Some of them sort of serves as my dream diary at this point. Misconceptions About Music Students and Challenges
This is not meant to be a rant, but rather an article to explain to the people who think it's fun for art students. I mean, it's serious business too, you know? As a full-time music student, I've heard things like 'Oh you study music? It must be fun. You guys just listen to music all day' or 'It's not that hard', or things along the line. Those, my friends, are what you don't tell people in any field — especially to someone in the arts. Artists are trying hard enough to pursue their passions. We don't need further discouragement from society about our career choices. We're just not taken seriously enough. Also, pursuing our passions doesn't mean a bed of roses.

Jack Of All Trades, Can't Focus On One. Perhaps Better Than A Master Of None?
Jack of all trades has become somewhat of an insult, but it didn’t begin as one. The phrase was originally used to describe a playwright who was always hanging around the theatres. He would help with the stage, the set and the costumes. He would remember lines and try directing. This so-called jack of all trades was in fact William Shakespeare. 3 Important Life Lessons I Learned As A Classical Musician
Recently, I chanced across a question on my Quora feed, 'Is memorization the goal/approach in learning a piece?'. Since it is a question about music and I figured I have a perspective to offer, I added it into my drafts and spent some time crafting my answer. After some time of writing and editing, I submitted my answer. I'm honestly quite pleased with how my answer turned out.

Why I Wanted To Withdraw From The College Course Of My Dreams
I entered into the college course of my dreams, a dream I had since three years prior. To pursue being a full-time musician. Specifically, to be a full-time pianist. It was all I dreamt of studying during those three years. I figured that since I've always looked forward to piano lessons, studying it full time wouldn't be a problem. I'll enjoy pursuing what I love while earning a degree in the process. Even though I still have no clue what I want to do for my full-time career, I am happy working in the music industry.
