Dream Date
A perfectly guided collision, how else could it be described? Down to my knees scrambling to gather my things, upon impact I was so startled I threw my arms full of books and papers into the air! How could I be so unaware, looking up to see the person who shared my day dream walking precession. As my eyes scanned up my heart paces, increasing the rate exponentially with every moment. Then upon our eyes meeting, lost in the deep blue of hers, piercing my soul as if in that moment she is scanning every second of my life searching for something or just curious about what's in my mind. Breathless from the energetic information exchange, watching her voiceless as my mind continues to race. "Please forgive my clumsiness, I am so sorry to have run into you!" I state as my mind is overwhelmed. Without missing a beat she assures me all is well and she begins to gather up her dropped things. My heart is racing and I'm carefully trying to ensure I gather all of the loose papers. She says "My name is Alex and collisions like this never just happen, I would like to know your name and maybe meetup later if your game?". Caught off guard, I never have anyone as beautiful as her speak to me much less actually have a desire to know who I am. I quickly respond as if I wasted a moment it wouldn't be real, I blurt out "Andy... Andy is my name!" She looks at me with a smile I've not seen before, then says " well Andy Andy, I would like to see you again; are you free this weekend? Thinking to myself "I'm not sure, I don't know what I have planned...", "Sure!" I respond not even aware of what I had scheduled. In that moment I couldn't have cared less about anything else, I'm rather excited that she took a chance and asked me out as if it were left up to me we'd be friends for eternity... We exchange our contact information and part ways, I never stopped thinking about her not once the rest of that day.
