Charlie Kirk, 31, has passed away. . Content Warning.
Law enforcement identified 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the primary suspect in the killing of conservative activist and father of two, Charlie Kirk. The 31-year-old Kirk, founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, died from a single gunshot wound to the neck on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, about 39 miles south of Salt Lake City. Robinson was taken into custody in Washington County, Utah, after confessing to his father, a veteran police officer.

The Trash Bag Killer, Patrick Wayne Kearney. . Content Warning.
Patrick Wayne Kearney, born in East Los Angeles, CA, September 24, 1939, is an 81-year-old American serial killer, serial rapist, cannibal, and necrophile who had killed between 20 and 41 young men across the state of California from 1962 to 1977. Kearney, the youngest of three siblings, all boys. He was said to have been raised in a family with stability. Kearney did suffer from childhood trauma, a common finding amongst serial killers. Kearney was described as a thin and sickly young man, leaving him open to school-yard bullies. By the time Kearney reached his teenage years, he had become withdrawn from society and often fantasized about killing people.

The Cleveland Strangler, Anthony Sowell, has died in prison. . Content Warning.
It has been a year and a half since the convicted serial killer Anthony Sowell died behind bars in Ohio. Sowell was sentenced to death for killing 11 women and hiding their bodies around his house and on his property. It was reported that the 61-year-old Sowell was receiving end-of-life care at Franklin Medical Center, where he was diagnosed with a terminal illness. In October 2009, the Cleveland Police Department investigated Sowell in connection with a rape case. That was when they stumbled across two bodies, which eventually led them to discover the remains of 11 women.

39 years later, where is Christopher Enoch Abeyta?. Content Warning.
On July 15, 1986, Christopher Enoch Abeyta, aged seven months, was discovered missing from his crib. After putting their baby to sleep around midnight, the parents discovered that Christopher's crib was empty a few hours later when they checked on him. Christopher's parents reported to authorities that their garage door opener was missing, their basement window was open, and the baby was nowhere to be found. Upon arrival, officers initially found no signs of forced entry, to which the parents said that they had left their front door unlocked the night their son disappeared. According to reports, Christopher's father was in the home the night his son disappeared. This was the first time he and Christopher's mother had separated. This was the first time he had stayed in the home since they had separated, but were in the process of reconciling.

1. Bundy thought his biological mother was his sister. November 24, 1946, 22-year-old Eleanor Louise Cowell, known as Louise, gave birth to Theodore Robert Cowell at the Elizabeth Lund Home for unwed mothers. Initially, Eleanor thought about placing the baby up for adoption. Ted’s grandfather, Sam Cowell, convinced her to join the family in Philadelphia, so they did. For years, Ted believed that his biological mother was his sister until he got old enough and was able to see through her lies. Bundy had told Ann Rule, author of The Stranger Beside Me, that “Maybe I just figured out that there couldn’t be a twenty-year difference in age between a brother and a sister, and Louise always took care of me. I just grew up knowing that she was really my mother.”

The Unjustified Killing of Sonya Massey.. Content Warning.
36-year-old Sonya Massey fearfully ducked onto her kitchen floor, apologizing to Deputy Sean Grayson with the Springfield, Illinois Police Department, who was responding to a distressed call of a possible prowler outside the home of Massey. Grayson stands accused of murdering Massey in an incident that was caught on body cam footage by his unidentified partner. In the video, Sonya Massey is seen ducking down behind her kitchen counter with potholders in each of her hands. When she rose slightly from the floor, Grayson fired his gun, shooting Massey three times, penetrating her left eye and exiting through her left carotid artery.

The No-Body Murder Of Codi Bigsby.. Content Warning.
The search for 4-year-old Codi Bigsby continues as authorities scratch their heads in confusion over what happened to the young boy, when he seemly vanished without a trace on the night of January 31, 2022. Codi’s father, Cory, told authorities that Codi was not in the home when he woke up on that Monday; furthermore, he said that he searched the house, but his son was nowhere to be found. At the time, authorities were hesitant to believe that Codi was abducted, but rather believed that they would find him near his father’s home in Buckroe Beach, Hampton. Hampton Police Chief Mark Talbot said, “The investigation does not indicate that he was abducted. There’s just no reason to believe it. We certainly are open to that as a possibility. It is not likely”. Authorities have stated that there were other children located within the home at the time the child disappeared, but the police chief would not elaborate on how many children there were in the home.

Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey?. Content Warning.
The Boulder Police Department, located in Boulder, Colorado, responded to John Ramsey, father of JonBenet Ramsey, regarding his requests to allow DNA testing to be done by an independent agency to help solve the 29-year-old case. Ramsey announced that he was going to start a petition asking the Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, for permission to allow an independent agency to test the DNA involved in the murder case of his daughter, JonBenet Ramsey, instead of the Boulder Police Department.

Sixteen Years Later, Haleigh Cummings Remains Missing.. Content Warning.
Nearly 16 years ago, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office received a heartbreaking call reporting the disappearance of five-year-old Haleigh Cummings. In the early morning hours of February 10, 2009, seventeen-year-old Misty Croslin called 911 to report that she had woken up to find the back door of their mobile home trailer wide open and five-year-old Haleigh Cummings missing. Haleigh Cummings is the daughter of Croslin's boyfriend, Ronald Cummings. On February 15, 2009, investigators at the Putnam County Sheriff's Office received about 500 tips and leads about the missing child within a week. On February 21, the Putnam County Sheriff's office released a statement to the public saying Misty Croslin's cousin, who was visiting Florida from Tennessee, was not a suspect in the child's disappearance.

On June 15, 2021, Don Wells called the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office to report that their 5-year-old daughter, Summer, had gone missing. Candus Bly and Don Wells described their daughter as being four feet tall, with blond hair, wearing a pink shirt and gray pants. Sheriff Lawson made a late-night announcement that prompted a large ground search for the missing girl. The next day, the search for Summer commenced, with the captain of the Church Hill Rescue Squad, Tim Coup, saying, “with the steep and dangerous terrain, we’re also experiencing very dense canopy coverage, including very dense ground cover causing search efforts to be very difficult.”
