Pride & Joy at The Cuckoo Inn
“Pride & Joy” events are held across the south of Hampshire during the summer months and are unique. They bring together anyone who owns any form of transport regardless of the number of wheels or methods of propulsion. It does not matter what it is just so long as it is the pride and joy of its owners and they want others to enjoy them.

Self Publishing on Amazon KDP
For far too long I have been putting off getting my act together and self-publishing a book of any sort. There were great plans and a lot of effort put into to drafting a compilation of travel articles. They were put together, proofed and all fifty thousand words were ready for publication but something put me off The individual pieces were fine but with word counts varying between four hundred and two thousand there was something untidy about how they would look to a reader. The project at that stage was warehoused.

I Got Stoned on a Bank Holiday Monday for a Fiver
I found a Rolling Stones album, Hurragh! It would have been easy to have ordered one online, paid for it and received it within twenty four hours but that really wouldn’t have been much fun. Instead, in our travels I would peruse the CD collections of charity shops in towns we were staying in or stopping in for a few minutes break looking for a Rolling Stones album.

Aston Martin Vantage
I had three Aston Martins to drive. I know the way I worded that opener that I may have made it sound like a bit of a hardship. It wasn't really as the experience was Christmas present from Heather, my wife. So what better way to spend an hour or so on an airfield on a Saturday morning in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside releasing my inner James Bond?
