Aaron Gensel
Bio
Thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences are what drive writers to pull in their audience. I have been writing off and on since I was a kid, nothing major, YET. My love of imagining scenerios and characters keeps me writing.

True Love
I feel him before I actually feel him. He tries so much to just let me rest but he also wants to show me that he loves me. “Hey, baby,” I say, half asleep still. It feels like I have not slept these past couple of days. Just a couple of days? It feels like I had a month crammed into that time. I sit up and give him a coy smile and he winks at me with that smile of his own that makes me tingle.

True Love
“Get up, bitch. We are going to the beach.” Tammy was always ready to go to the beach and today was the perfect day to get a tan. “Tommy and Gary are going to meet us there. If we are lucky, we might just get lucky later. So, move your ass and get ready.”

True Love
“So, what happened then?” He looks at me with emotion in his eyes. “Are you doing alright? I am always here for you, sexy. Always. If you need to talk about anything, I am here for you and I won’t judge.” He sits back in the chair his face changes to show he is serious. “Look at what I have told you about me. I will never judge you.”

True Love
Get up. If you hurry, there is a knife ready to end all of this. You know you want to. You know you want to give yourself peace. Come to me and share a life without guilt. Share a life without any of the hurt you cause daily. You’re just being selfish. Reach for it. End it. You are nothing here but you are everything to me.

True Love
If anyone had told me six months ago that I was moving in with the love of my life, I would have done the usual: laugh in their face until they walked away. Love is something that seemed to have been out of my reach in my life. Granted I was only 23 but all of my friends from High School seemed to have found love right away. There I was, trying to figure out what ice cream went with the new Hallmark movie. Disgusting and sad. This all changed one day in the office.

True Love
I wake up on the couch and see a text from Jerry. He had to go into town for something and would be back in a couple of hours. I wish I didn’t miss him. All I wanted, these past few days, was him close to me. I can’t shake this drowsiness for some reason. I stumble into the kitchen to get a drink of coffee and I pray to the Gods that it does the trick. I stand by the window and look at the barn in the back. How the hell did I get in there and what the hell is going on? Everything feels so real to me but I must be dreaming.

True Love
After the funeral, we finally get things squared away and called the movers. Terry will be heading back to the house to get things prepared for them. “Now, just stay here and relax baby. If there is anything you need, just take the truck to town and grab whatever you need. I will be back in a day or two. I just need to explain to them what to pack up and how to get here.” He says, his eyes showing me that this is hard on him. We have never been apart for too long, until now.

Life's Experiences
We live our lives by rules created out of our experiences. This usually means that if someone is standoffish, there is a reason. If someone dates people, male or female, that don’t treat them with respect, there is a reason. Our experiences dictate who we are and how we handle situations. This is a story of how my life experiences collided with someone who lived the same but the experience was different in their life.
