Two Truths and a Love

God speaks.

God creates.

God is not silent.

The Father is not an idea.

The Son is not a metaphor.

The Spirit is not a feeling.

Before anything was made,

before anything was named,

love already was.

Being is not lonely.

Existence is not cold.

Reality begins in communion.

The Father loves the Son.

The Son loves the Father.

The Spirit is the love between them.

Love is not born of need.

Love is not sustained by lack.

Love flows from fullness.

God does not learn to love.

God does not practice love.

God is love.

Relationship is not an add-on.

It is not optional.

It is the shape of being.

Truth is not separate from God.

Truth is not above God.

Truth is God made known.

The Word was with God.

The Word was God.

The Word became flesh.

Christ does not point at truth.

Christ does not explain truth.

Christ is truth embodied.

To see the Son

is to see the Father.

Truth has a face.

The Father sends.

The Son obeys.

The Spirit empowers.

Obedience is not humiliation.

Submission is not erasure.

Love orders itself freely.

The will of the Father

is the joy of the Son,

not the fear of the Son.

Authority does not crush.

Authority gives life.

Love moves downward.

God is one.

God is three.

God is not divided.

Unity does not erase distinction.

Distinction does not fracture unity.

Difference does not threaten love.

The Trinity is not a puzzle.

It is a reality.

A life to enter.

Creation is not accidental.

It is overflow.

Love making room.

Love is not sentiment.

Love is not tolerance.

Love is self-giving.

The Father gives the Son.

The Son gives Himself.

The Spirit gives life.

Nothing is taken.

Nothing is coerced.

Everything is given.

True love always costs.

True love always risks.

True love never hoards.

To love God

with heart, soul, and mind

is to love with your whole being.

To love God with strength

is to let love cost you.

Love that costs nothing changes nothing.

Commandment is not control.

It is invitation.

Love calling love.

God does not demand from emptiness.

God invites from fullness.

Love answers love.

Christ does not abolish truth.

Christ fulfills it.

Christ carries it into the world.

Grace does not deny justice.

Grace completes it.

Mercy is not indulgence.

At the cross,

truth is not softened.

Love is not diluted.

Sin is not ignored.

Evil is not excused.

It is borne.

The Father does not abandon the Son.

The Son does not resist the Father.

The Spirit does not arrive late.

The cross is not divine abuse.

It is divine agreement.

Love willing itself through suffering.

What breaks the world

does not break God.

God breaks death instead.

The cost is real.

The obedience is real.

The love is real.

The resurrection is not denial of pain.

It is victory through it.

Love outlasting death.

The Son rises.

The Father receives Him.

The Spirit glorifies Him.

Death is defeated.

Not by force.

But by life.

Hope is not optimism.

It is promise kept.

Life has the final word.

God does not command love from afar.

God loves first.

God invites response.

We love because He loved us.

We choose because He chose us.

Freedom must be real to be love.

Rejection is permitted.

Grace remains offered.

Truth does not withdraw.

Love risks refusal.

God accepts the risk.

Love remains love.

Truth without love becomes cruelty.

Love without truth becomes sentiment.

In God, they are one.

The Father is truth.

The Son is truth embodied.

The Spirit is truth alive within us.

To know God

is not to master knowledge.

It is to enter love.

Worship is response.

Obedience is trust.

Life becomes prayer.

Love given.

Love received.

Love shared.

From the Father.

Through the Son.

In the Spirit.

Two truths.

One love.

Forever.
