Heavenly Winter Morning

Misty winter morning!

As soon as I close my eyes, a scene appears on the screen of my mind. A little village in the bone-chilling winter. At one end of the fog-shrouded farmer's backyard, the water is boiling. All the children of the house are sitting around the edge of the fire. On top of the lid covered with the skillful hands of the smiling farmer wife, a small bowl covered with rice flour, new date molasses and grated coconut is being fried in a cloth. Descending hot smoky steamed cakes one by one on each person's dish. This picture is a well-known winter picture of a traditional rural Bengal of extreme kindness, affection and love and unbreakable bonds of tradition.

Around the tea shop in the morning, the tangle begins to gather. Everyone has winter sheets, sweaters! In the story, the cup of tea is empty one by one! Accumulated chat! This is the winter season of the traditional villages of Bengal!

I had a different sense of winter as a child. Misty winter morning! Being surprised to see the smoke coming out when you open your mouth. Vapa, Chitui, Patisapata, Puli, Kuli are different types of pita. Even if you wake up, you don't want to get out of bed. The smell of sunshine penetrating the cotton blankets. Flocks of guest birds line up across the horizon at dusk. The sound of chirping made the nature of winter different.

Although the appeal of winter is different in city life, in villages the significance of winter season can be felt differently at every step. Looking at the roadsides and fields of Bengal, you can see small juice pods hanging from the palm trees. Somewhere, the trees are preparing to take the juice from the trees. And across the crop field in the golden glow morning and evening frost fog. The taste of hot juice or raw juice is incomparable! And juice-soaked juice cake has no comparison.

During the dry season, the canal water dries up at this time. Somewhere knee-jerk water, somewhere or crunchy char wakes up. And so the village's far-fetched teenagers indulged in the festival of fishing in shallow waters. Along with this, flocks of white bucks flock to canals and fields in search of food. The whiteness of the buck sitting like white flowers in flocks is also a wonderful sight.

The winter vegetables of cauliflower, cabbage, radish, turnip, cabbage, carrot, tomato, which are arranged in the branches of the vegetable garden in the village and city markets are eye-catching and heart-filling.

Another heavenly beauty of winter prevails in the mustard field. The yellow mustard flowers blooming across the field spread a yellow floral sheet. And the colorful butterflies and bees flying over those flowers are mind-blowing.

Dewdrops hang on the tips of peas and green grass. The light of the morning sun spread various colors on it, diamond light. At one point, the colorful water drops fell on the ground.

No matter where you go in the world, the beauty cannot be compared with anything else in this mortal world!

I remember the lines of poet's wonderful poem-

For many days, many miles away—

Spend a lot of time traveling to many countries -

I went to see the mountains,

I went to see Sindhu.

Did not meet the eyes

Just two steps away from the house

Over a grain of rice

A dew point.

However, in experiencing and enjoying the beauty of this unique winter, we cannot forget about those poor people. Winter is not a joy in their life, those who don't have a little winter clothes or no place to live, but a curse, so whoever can, extend a helping hand to the nearest poor person and make the world beautiful and good.
