The Uncopiable Human Wit to Write

AI cannot be creative, it just spits out data it scraped

We all have been in that spot at least once in our schooldays where we have been wringing our brains off to curate written articles of some sort until our soul-less friends were born. At just four years old, our beloved soul-less, metallic, digital assistant who is always by our side when we turn on our computers and smart phones, will be doing much more than curating written content for us all, if you know what I mean.

Many scholars even make great use of this assistance to ace their tasks in no time. As time goes by, we will be having a hard time figuring out how this works in the mere sense of the term.

Last year, the Nobel committee awarded an AI-guru named Geoffrey Hinton for his immense work on deep neural networks, which were inspired by neural connections of the human brain. He publicly stated the dangers of AI as they evolve and learn on their own if meticulous AI safety measures are not put in place by AI companies with the likes of OpenAI. His statement sent shockwaves to social media and news agencies as they relay the news of the danger AI may pose to humanity in the not-too-distant future.

In accordance with Geoffrey Hinton’s research neural networks are modelled after humans and not the other way around, why, then do they overtake us in almost all levels of intellectual work? Well, this decision seems to be rushed because just because a machine can handle copious data in manners of seconds or minutes does not mean it is capable of things like emotion, instinct or intuition. Our brains are not only intertwined connections of living wires, but also an amalgamation of a host of numerous invisible entities that science and logic is not even beginning to understand. We ourselves that ability to tap into the invisible field when we decided to be materialistic. This is not a fairy-tale, ancient knowledege corroborates it, and so do the world’s major belief systems, aka religions.

We are derived not only by our ability to rely on logic and empirical relationship; we often navigate life’s labyrinth through the impeccable guidance from our intuition. Our brains harbor intricate ways of understanding the universe from a wide vista of understanding.

Henceforth, the supercomputers that handle complex linguistics, logic and mathematics do not have that human element called intuition. When I am sick in the office, my mom feels off about something and I will get a call from her in no time. AI cannot yet understand this aspect of human intuition and inexplicable phenomena beyond the empirical and the physical. Besides, our brains and the billions of living wire connections are created to handle intricate levels of information even we can not understand, let alone AI agents.

Our brains serve as antennae to the universe and beyond, always uploading to and downloading from the little-understood reservoir of information called the Akashic records. The ancients understood this long before we decided to stop resonating with Nature and the Universe. To be human is to err, so no living human can curate a perfect thesis without proofreading before the birth of AI which can handle the proofreading without any human intervention. Nevertheless, we seek new motives and reasons to keep us engaged with AI despite the fact that all the knowledge we need is out there. AI is trained on the material aspect of nature, without the spiritual aspect, which is something not even humans can understand, not because they are incapable, but because this physical embodiment is a mere entrapment to their elevation to heightened perspectives and higher consciousness.

That is why an AI apparently sounds like it outperforms humans in all aspects where intellect is required. Intellect is not the only gift bestowed upon humans. Emotion, intuition, clairvoyance are also what humans and other creatures are very well-known for.

Within the yardsticks of human measure, a dolphin is a less intelligent animal, construed inappropriately as not-evolved to the level of humans. However, they can predict an earthquake, tsunami or even bad weather which no network of all supercomputers combined can ever do. This is because we departed that life a long time ago and preferred materialistic to spiritualistic layers of the universe.

I always find myself not referring to the ‘I’ in any written text I used to work on, both in my academic and professional life. Instead of saying “I want to assert that …”, I would rather say “It has to be asserted that …”. Yet, that story has changed since AI came over and companies began to make extensive use of AI to generate written content for them. Because AI is very good at elucidating complicated scenarios using the nicest description, I feel like I am awfully profane. Henceforth, I include multiple references of ‘I’ in all nuance to help authentic writers identify me as an authentic writer. However, please note that this is not the only way to separate the wheat from the chaff in identifying AI-gen content. When it comes to a platform where writers submit their work on the internet, there are few-and-far-between. I only seem to find Vocal Media one of the very few where a community of authentic writers can be found. Even the brains of those who used to be good curators of stories sound to be tarnished by the emergence of the scroll frenzy, as this contributes to their ADHD and embarks on a new journey of messing up the live wires in their brains. It is obviously clear what the intentions of the dark forces are. There is a little of spirituality left in us humans; however, allegiance to the forces of darkness are conspiring to drain even that little left, devouring us in total darkness. So,fellow humans, and sparks of divine intelligence, I implore you to wake the hell up. I am not asserting that you ought to stop relying on things that make your lives easier. Instead, try to have a good balance between consuming things that render us degenerate such as AI, scroll apps, automation, and those that advance our and raise our consciousness to the level at which we will be armored-to-teeth with the weapons that enable us to vanquish the forces of darkness and embrace victory once and for all.
