The Red Train Car
My best birthday celebration by far...

A drive into the mountains, surrounded by wood... followed by that smell
As any great hot springs should
Checking into our red train car in the middle of no where...
Is something I could never explain but the drinks over flowed
And I wished we could forever stay
Sitting in the sunlight under the bright blue sky
I suddenly felt comfortable with no questions on the why
Making our way to the pool
Over crowded as it was sold out
I screamed to stranger's it was my day... AND
All of them sang to me in the socially traditional way
In awe of the echoing sounds of tunes just for me
I couldn't stop smiling...
How could all of this be happening for me?
The people of the past used this national day
As a way to hurt me in the stupidest of forms
Not this time...
Not on this first August night
My life might be complicated
But 47 felt just right!
