Mitry-Mory: A Hub for Carpenter Workshop Gallery’s Artistic Innovation and Preservation
Loic Le Gaillard and Julien Lombrail launched Mitry-Mory in 2016 as a dedicated space for artisans. Located on the outskirts of Paris, the sprawling 8,000-square-meter workshop has become one of the most exciting places in the world for the production of pieces of contemporary functional art. Providing designers, mechanics and craftspeople with the opportunity to experiment with new materials and processes, as well as offering a hub for the preservation of dying practices of craftsmanship, the workshop brings together some of the most innovative artists working today.

Miriam Cahn: Art That Confronts the Raw Realities of Existence
Miriam Cahn is an artist whose work is impossible to ignore. Her paintings, drawings, and installations confront the viewer with the raw, often uncomfortable truths of human existence, violence, vulnerability, sexuality, and the politics of the body. For decades, Cahn has created art that forces us to face the darker aspects of humanity, asking questions about power, oppression, and the fragility of life. Today, I want to take a closer look at her challenging yet deeply human body of work and explore why it remains profoundly relevant.
