Story of My Mountain

A Journey of Strength, Resilience, and Love

By Azadeh AfsharianPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Today, I want to tell you,

You, oh mountain,

Whose summit may be covered in snow and cold,

But inside, filled with passion and warmth,

Your outward stone appearance, filled with spirit and life,

Without you, my mountain, my stature would be stooped,

In these years, life's hardships,

We endured, and were pulled,

And became thin,

And became worn,

But we were not broken apart,

And all because of

Your dear mountain existence,

Where you stood,

Fought,

And we fought,

And will continue to fight,

To make life worth

Fighting to become a mountain, and remain a mountain,

I love you, my twelve-year-old mountain.
