Silence speaks louder than love
Whispers of restraint

There’s a space, a place, where shadows whisper,
Where silence speaks louder than words can deliver.
You’ll never know how deep the silence runs,
Or how it pulls you, as quiet as the sun.
It’s a place I’ve kept hidden, a secret untold,
A place where I’ve learned, with time, to be bold.
I don’t love lightly, not with careless hands,
For I know the weight of what love demands.
When I let you near, you enter with grace,
Touching a corner no one else can trace.
I guard it so fiercely, yet give it so free,
A space that no one else will ever see.
You, a man of control, a pull that is strong,
With a gaze that speaks, but a touch that's not wrong.
You move with such patience, so slow and so sure,
You give more before taking, a love that’s obscure.
I can sense your desire, but you wait, you hold back,
A dance of seduction, a rhythm we lack.
But I know this game, I’ve played it before,
With silent intentions, and meanings galore.
You show me a longing, a thirst in your eyes,
But you keep it restrained, you silence your cries.
And in that quiet, I feel the pull more,
I wonder if you’ll reach, if you’ll open the door.
I do not touch lightly, not without cause,
For each touch, each move, each word I pause.
To let someone in is a choice so profound,
You don’t just enter; you must know the ground.
If I’ve ever allowed you to reach, to come near,
You’ve touched a place no one else could peer.
And still, you wait, controlling the fire,
Giving me more, as you feed my desire.
A kiss, a word, a lingering glance,
Each act is a step in a deeper dance.
You do not rush, you do not break,
But you give, and give, before you take.
You see, I can handle the silence, the space,
The distance that lies in our delicate chase.
But what I cannot bear, what makes me recoil,
Is knowing I care more, in this game of toil.
I do not love lightly, my heart is a flame,
And if I give it, you must play the same game.
What is it you want, you man of control?
What lies beneath that calm, poised soul?
I need not your touch just to feel my place,
But your heart, your truth, your embrace in grace.
For I give all when I love, all without fear,
But when I care more, the pain is severe.
I do not chase, I do not plead,
I give what I am, but I need you to heed.
I do not love just for the thrill of the chase,
But for a connection, a slow, steady pace.
I have let you near, I’ve opened the door,
Now give me your heart, or leave me wanting more.
So take your time, let the silence grow,
But know that I’ll feel if your heart doesn’t show.
I can handle the waiting, the pause, the space,
But not if I’m left in this quiet embrace.
For I do not love lightly, not without depth,
And I need you to meet me, with each breath.
So the dance goes on, but only you decide—
Will you take the step, or let silence divide?
For I give all, and in return, I must know,
That you feel the same, that you’re ready to show.
I do not love lightly, I do not love in vain,
But when I do, I give all, despite the pain.
