Pure love

Love is everywhere. Many couples walk around us and we see them everywhere. Hookup places, weddings, schools, parks...

But it was not the kind of love i craved. Because in fact you can date whenever you want, just send a message and you got a date. But that was not the kind of love i searched for in people's eyes.

I craved for the art-deco kinda love.

The one where we can stare at each other's eyes for hours without saying anything.

The one where i just feel comfortable and mind free sitting next to them.

Feeling each other's presence from a distance. Our heartbeats saying more than we want. A kind of innocent , pure love. We can share deep talks and then laugh about it.

Was i crazy for wanting a best friend and a comforter in a partner.

I don't wanna feel like i was in a relationship where i had to put mind tricks and get headaches.

I just want to be free with you, no thought in mind. Just us, together in a rooftop sharing stories. Maybe with a cup of tea. We don't have to say anything, we can just enjoy each other's presence.

Be honest with me, tell me your worries, be in my arms, let me play with your hair.

I might have not asked a lot and i know that. But let's be honest: how many couples are really like that?

Is there the kinda innocent, pure love in this generation? Everyone is focused on putting rules and unrealistic standards , meanwhile most of us just want something honest and simple.
