NCT Tokyo, currently known as NCT New Team, stands as the 6th unit within the renowned boy group NCT, proudly affiliated with SM Entertainment. This unit was meticulously formed through the compelling survival show titled "NCT Universe: LASTART."
Debut Details
The NCT New Team members are : Sion, Riku, Yushi, Daeyoung, Ryo, and Sakuya. They marked their initial journey with the release of a pre-debut song titled "Hands Up" on October 19, 2023, and are gearing up for their official debut slated for the end of the same year.

Sion: Embracing Multilingual Aspirations
Sion, introduced as a future NCT member on June 28, 2023, hails from Mokpo, South Korea. With a four-year training stint, he aspires to learn multiple languages to foster interaction with the global fanbase. Sion's diverse hobbies include discovering compelling songs, reading, indulging in anime and dramas, and showcasing his skills in bowling.
Riku: The Patient Soul
With a year-long training background, Riku epitomizes patience. His leisure activities include watching animations and movies, and he holds a special affinity for letters from loved ones.
Yushi: The Calm Vocalist
Introduced alongside Sion on June 28, 2023, Yushi, a former member of EDAMAME BEANS (Vocal Position), brings a calm demeanor to the group. Having undergone five years of training, he contributes his vocal prowess to the team.
Daeyoung: The Energetic Daeng
Hailing from Daegu, Daeyoung, nicknamed Daeng 땡 (meaning puppy), boasts a vibrant personality. Despite a brief three-month training period, he showcases vocal strength in high notes and falsettos.
Ryo: Happiness Personified
Ryo, with a one-year training history, embodies happiness in one word. He describes his personality as active and treasures items such as his cellphone and a lifelong companion, a cherished doll.
Sakuya: The Unknown Bud
Sakuya, a one-year trainee, is often described as an "unknown bud." His diverse interests include shopping with friends, photography, and engaging in soccer. He finds joy in activities like bread pilgrimages, gift-giving, and frequenting the mart.
