A Man Who was all fine, but he wasn't
A young man, will educated, introduce him self and reported that his brother has suffered brain haemorrhage, but he is all fine, but they have taken him to another hospital and there were no space to accommodate him there, but the doctors there advised that he need hospital admission and strict monitoring and may be surgery as well. On heavy heart we also informed them about the same situation at ours, however we assessed the patient and he was all fine, he was talking and was smiling, however his left side of body was weak although he didn't reported himself but on assessment we got it, but that was mild but this is usual thing with brain haemorrhage patient, that they either develop sudden neurological deficits or some time its delayed. we give the patient initial treatment, and repeated brain imaging, there was huge brain haematoma and has created mass effect, The patient has developed headach at noon and now its was evening, he had episode of loss of consciousness and some weakness in left side of body.Now in evening there was some space available for the patient and we did required surgery but the patient needed ICU care post op however that wasn't available, and now it was mid night, we shifted patient to HDU in ward, he was irritable, his brothers were there with him, all were hopeful about him, there I also saw his young son of 18, with his cousins, so sad, yet so hopeful, would greet us politely every time we passed by him, fortunately on next morning he got ICU bed and was shifted to it, was there for more than a week, in first few days in ICU he was in vegetative state, he was breathing on his own, his heart was fine, but he was comatose, wasn't responding, but after few days he got fine, was opening eyes, and following command, tracheosotomy has been done to him, that's why he couldn't talk but could communicate. He was there in hospital for more than a month, got respiratory infection which is the most common cause of death in such patients however he survived it, and recovered, after a month of care, he was able to breath on his own, he was opening eyes, was following command and could communicate in subtle way with his siblings, now I used to see his young son, all happy about his father, for now he know his father is safe, his brother who was educated man, all serious and polite, was satisfied and was making arrangement to take his brother home.

Malcolm. The bow of the boat separates the clouds of fog rolling over the water. It’s nearly half past eleven. While the rest of the ship sleeps, he listens during the whispering hours. To the unobservant, the only sounds louder than that of his cigarette getting shorter are the waves smacking against the hull of this sea freighter or the gust of crisp sea air creating what feels like little tornadoes forming as the ear braves the blow.
