Hurricane Isabelle

A Sad Dream

By Gaille HunterPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Last night, my painting came to life and crystallized my current strife.

The torrents of a hurricane washed away the bloody stains.

As sea winds broke apart the walls, I scrambled fast, collecting all belongings.

Left behind in haste, my life, my love, my family, drowning, washing out to sea.

And then those words, through streaming tears, my battered soul did strike.

Lost adrift in utter fear.

You just don't know what it's like.Hurricane Isa

Beautiful art and beautiful words. I love the colours together and the way you merge the painting with real life. Very powerful.
