In these photos taken from U.S. military aircraft, atomic mushroom clouds are seen rising over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as the atom bombs leveled everything to the ground. The picture on the left is of Hiroshima, bombed on Aug. 6, 1945, while the picture on the right shows the Nagasaki bombing on Aug. 9, 1945. The bombs killed nearly 160,000 people in Hiroshima and another 75,000 in Nagas

The devastating impact of these bombings is a somber reminder of the immense human cost of war. Such tragedies must never be forgotten.

And what have we learned?
In the name of winning, some people almost took away a civilization.
So all things that War left behind are painful, loss, deaths and havoc, hope all the wars will end.

Things we must do to end wars.
Nice
I lived in Japan for three years and visited Hiroshima. You never know how you will face an event in history until it is staring you down through a museum and the remains of a terrible act.
Great Information.
