Flow states

Emerging feels like waking

The world softens at the edges.

Sounds recede, a muted hum.

My focus narrows, a laser beam

cutting through the clutter.

Thoughts still arise,

but they drift like clouds

across a vast, untroubled sky.

No need to grasp, no need to judge.

Time stretches, elastic.

Minutes blur into moments,

or perhaps moments expand,

holding an eternity within them.

The task at hand unfolds,

a natural extension of self.

Effortless effort,

like breathing in and out.

Mistakes become information,

not obstacles.

Corrections flow intuitively,

a dance between intention and action.

A quiet joy settles in,

a deep satisfaction

unburdened by outcome,

found solely in the doing.

Emerging feels like waking

from a vivid dream,

a residue of clarity,

a sense of having truly lived

within that singular point.
