Consistency is routine for “N$5” this month.

The month of September has been upcoming rapper “N$5” month, dropping a total of three(3) singles this month. “Havin my way” (Sept. 1st) “Detroit Diamond” (Sept. 8th) and the latest single “Crash The Party” dropped today! (Sept. 15th)

Being avid lovers of music, we understand consistency plays a huge role in an artist’s success. We had the pleasure to sit down with “N$5” and learn more about this months momentum, his new single dropping today and what to expect the rest from “N$5” as he is an upcoming artist to keep on your radar!

First of all, congratulations on yet another single drop this month!

NewWave: “What’s this track mean to you?”

N$5: “This track gives me chills everytime I listen to it. The energy that my colleague and I both put into this song is what makes it a great song.”

NewWave: “Where did you get the inspiration to create this track?”

N$5: “It’s kinda funny how my colleague and I came to make this song. I went and linked up with him after I was having a bad day already and he was like “well let’s make a song”. So after smoking a little Mary Jane we sat back, found this beat, and basically started flowing. It wasn’t a lot of writing taken place for this song like how we do with other songs.”

NewWave: “Who is involved in the creation of this track? (Producer, Engineers, features, etc.)”

N$5: “I can’t remember the producer who made the beat, but this is a random YouTube beat that my colleague “Youngzeek” and I found. “Youngzeek” mixed, recorded and featured on this track as well. I myself mastered this track.”

NewWave: “From the listeners aspect, what do you want them to feel or take away from this track?”

N$5: “I want my listeners to feel like they want to get up, dance and party when they listen to this energetic track.”

NewWave: “We know you’ve been dropping consistent this month, can we expect a project coming or just singles for now?”

N$5: “For now, I'm going to keep the singles coming, it was actually supposed to be a collaborative Ep with Youngzeek and I to be released in the spot of this new single but there were some issues during the upload that stopped it from being pushed through. The collaborative EP will be the next biggest project I release on top of multiple dropping singles!”

NewWave: “In terms of music, any big announcements you’d like to share with your supporters?”

N$5: “When it comes to music, I can say that I’m finally comfortable in this bag that I’m in especially when it comes down to the recording part. I’ve been learning how to use my home studio more and more so that I can keep this consistent flow of music coming!”
