Cheap Marathon and Half Marathon is a race perfect for setting a personal record and qualifying for Boston. The race course is flat and fast. Marathon participants will start 2 people every 7 seconds and half marathon participants will start 2 people every 15 seconds. The time limit for the marathon is 7 hours.

The New England running community has so many great events to choose from throughout the year. We understand that costs for many these races tend to be on the higher side as the overall production budgets have increased. We’ve decided to bring an event that strips down many of the expenses that organizers incur and focus on the essentials needed to produce a solid road race. By doing this, we pass the savings on to our participants and are proud to bring you The CHEAP Marathon, presented by Green Stride and Millennium Running. The event is limited to 750 runners.

The out & back course on the Derry & Windham Rail Trail will be 1 loop for the half marathon and 2 loops for the marathon. This flat and fast course will be the perfect opportunity to run a PR!
