One day.
Just one day.
One more day and it’s done.
We say these words to keep ourselves going. We say them every day. We try to smile when the whole world looks grey.
People love us and we question why.
We are not worthy of love, we know that from our youngest days.
But people keep telling us that we are worth more then we know. We are loved by many, just not our own soul.
One day….
This will end.
This pain will stop,
These tears will dry,
But I don’t know if I will still be alive.
This battleground is deep inside,
And no one can fight it but me.
This battle is too much,
The war on my heart has turned me cold
I can not keep pretending I have any heart left that’s not stone.
