Picture rich terracotta, lush greens, and gentle browns. This color scheme, inspired by architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, highlights warmth and tranquility. Liz Kirby, designer at Surf Road, highlights the importance of soft textures like sherpa to bring warmth and coziness to any space. "Textured lighting, like alabaster, is an investment that can add a touch of glamour and sophistication to a room," she notes.

  8. Tadelakt and Limewash Walls

 Limewash finishes are becoming increasingly popular, especially in wet areas like bathrooms. Tadelakt, a waterproof finish. The absence of grout joints makes for easier cleaning, which is a significant advantage. The smooth and luxurious look of limewash is ideal for establishing a spa-like atmosphere, particularly in bathrooms or kitchens.

Welch points out that these sustainable choices not only promote a healthier living environment but also infuse character and warmth into a home. "These materials support a healthier lifestyle and create spaces that are both beautiful and environmentally conscious," she explains.
