From the time I could hold a pencil, I was in love with writing.
My early attempts might not have been masterpieces, but they were mine, filled with the raw joy of creating something out of nothing.
I would spend hours crafting my own stories, inventing characters with vivid personalities, and pouring my thoughts into my journal.
Writing was, and still is, a way for me to explore my imagination, process my experiences, and express my emotions.
As I grew older, my passion for writing never waned.
However, I noticed a pattern: I kept my stories and musings to myself.
I read voraciously and wrote regularly, but my words rarely saw the light of day.
My journals filled up, but they remained private, almost secret.
I wrote for the sheer pleasure of it, not for an audience.
Yet, there was a part of me that longed for a connection, for my words to reach others who might resonate with them.
Does this sound familiar?
If you answer with yes, listen out, because I've been there.
There could be a ton of reasons why we write, but not share our stories.
Maybe it's fear, holding us back, for example, the fear of not being able to write good content.
But keeping every idea and every good story you might have to yourself can create an imbalance.
Let me explain:
Have you ever heard of the term that what you create, consume, and take in needs to be put out again?
Our lives exist in cycles. We have a moon cycle; our four seasons have their own cycle (of course everyone experiences this differently, depending on where you live).
Actually, I find that this applies to everything in life.
So when we, for example, only consume good books and fill one journal after another, we're keeping all this information and our good ideas, or stories to ourselves.
You can compare this to stagnant energy. Keeping everything in creates stagnant energy.
I believe that every good idea and story are there to be shared with others.
When we start sharing our writing with others, we create some flow.
This internal struggle for balance and flow led me to start blogging.
Because blogging can bridge the gap between our private world of words and the public sphere, where our thoughts could interact with others.
Blogging allows you to share your stories, ideas, and reflections with a broader audience.
It’s a space where writing isn’t confined to the limits of a social media caption but can stretch out comfortably, finding its rhythm and voice.
Unlike Instagram or other social media platforms, which often require brevity, a blog lets you explore topics in depth.
Here, you can delve into the nuances of a story and express your thoughts without the constraints of a word limit.
This freedom is liberating for someone who has always had a lot to say and a deep love for the written word.
Blogging also offers a unique way to connect with others who share similar interests.
It’s a space where you can receive feedback, engage in meaningful conversations, and grow as a writer.
In essence, blogging is the culmination of my lifelong love for writing.
Stories and ideas that have long been confined to my journals.
It’s a place where my passion for writing meets the desire for connection, where my words can inspire and be inspired by others.
Starting blogging has been a journey of self-discovery and growth.
It has taught me to be more open, to embrace vulnerability, and to find joy in sharing my creative process.
It has allowed me to take my childhood love for writing and transform it into something that connects me to a wider world.
So, why do I blog? Because writing is my passion.
Through blogging, you can transcend the limits of social media and give your words the space they deserve.
Blogging is not only an outlet for my creativity; it’s a bridge between our inner world and the community of readers and writers who make the journey worthwhile.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
Whether you’re here for the stories, the reflections, or the connection, I’m grateful for your presence.
Here’s to many more stories, shared experiences, and the endless possibilities that come with the freedom to write.
