Where do I direct my Investment questions? Help needed!

First, I apologize if this all seems confusing. I hope it makes some kind of sense as this is how it all seems to me right now.

I have invested and paid, yet I keep getting a follow-up e-mail which asks that I pay again. I have tried twice to decipher the message, but it insists both times for payment. This message does not seem to be transmitted from Vocal itself, but from the Investment side of things, I do not know what to think!

I do not understand the entire model or set-up of this side of Vocal. I feel kind of lost, as I am not feeling tuned into the whole new aspect of investing.

The new e-mail shows this form below asking for what I have already done. All I am now supposed to be receiving is a confirmation of payment and whatever else is entailed in the finalizing of the transaction.

I am sure that this is just a misunderstanding and hopefully this will all be cleared up soon. A timely answer is anticipated as time is fast running out.

If I am misunderstanding the message, then an explanation would be greatly appreciated. After reading most of the article on the explanation of things, does this message below mean that I should bring the balance up to $500 or more. Please help, because it does not mention my initial payment.

This points to step 1 being completed. I made a payment already, so why do steps 2,3,4 and 5 still remain unchecked. Is this meant for additional payment?

I am therefore uncertain of whether or not to direct questions or queries to the Vocal helpline directly, which I may have to do anyway, if I cannot get an answer.

.................................................

I also have more questions about going forward.

My first question therefore is:

"Will there be a direct 'community' or query section where we can direct our questions on investing whenever they need direct answers or when they are not fully understood by us, the investors"?

I know that there is that section where we first got introduced to the investment concept, and that Justin is answering questions over there, but will that be enough as time goes on. I also read where it is said that information will be posted on a timely basis if we desire to be updated.

How do I keep up with how the company is doing?

"At a minimum, the company will be filing with the SEC and posting on its website an annual report, along with certified financial statements. Those should be available 120 days after the fiscal year end. If the Company meets a reporting exception, or eventually has to file more reported information to the SEC, the reporting described above may end. If these reports end, you may not continually have current financial information about the company".

Equity crowdfunding investments in private placements, and start-up investments in particular, are speculative and involve a high degree of risk and those investors who cannot afford to lose their entire investment should not invest in start-ups. Companies seeking startup investment through equity crowdfunding tend to be in earlier stages of development and their business model, products and services may not yet be fully developed, operational or tested in the public marketplace. There is no guarantee that the stated valuation and other terms are accurate or in agreement with the market or industry valuations. Further, investors may receive illiquid and/or restricted stock that may be subject to holding period requirements and/or liquidity concerns.

Secondly:

Will we have a Zoom meeting or something on a similar basis in the near future, to keep us updated on a monthly or bi-weekly basis of the ins and outs and goings on with investments and new developments on Vocal.

Cost wise, a zoom may not be feasible at this time, I am unsure of what that all costs. But seeing the management team face to face, or zoom to face, could bring a bit more of a humane nature to the feeling on the platform. I was with another company who did that, and I must say it was a pleasant feeling to see the faces behind the planning and 'behind the scene' carryings on.

I just completed reading your post on investing questions, and it's a game changer! Your explanation of where to direct those whirling investing questions was both informative and relevant. If you have any questions concerning investing, you may go here - https://harborwest.com/

I am too hesitant to invest in vocal due to the fact that I do read posts that some people have had trouble with the app and site in general. It’s still in beta mode so it seems too early

Novel, Just sent you an email clarifying your concerns.

  • I hope you get the assistance you need.

I can totally see how this is confusing and hard to follow!! You are asking some great questions here, I will keep an eye out for when you get answers!!

  • So, I posted on Justins initial investment page (which I should probably have done first, but I needed to post the pics). He quickly replied and advised that he will have his investment people look into it. I hope to have a timely response. Thank you all for accompanying me on my quest. 😏.

  • Omgggg, why is this thing asking you for more payment. This is so weird. I'm so sorry I'm unable to help you because I know nothing about this. I hope someone helps you out 🥺

  • Great questions for which I have no answers. Thank you for asking them, my friend.

Dear Novel - As per my usual may I stick my 'Tuchus' into this? You of course know, although retired, what I've done for a living for decades. But, this is why I just wrote "Sugar Daddy" since everything, especially legal matters, may be 'Subject to Interpretation.' I have not paid much attention to this matter, but since you brought it up, I see nothing malicious or unusual pursuant to this issue at all. I'm just a simple StoryTeller and I think Justin is a fine person - and will work this out - to give us such a glorious platform to market our goods to whomever with very little interference. I feel you with this. I stopped and started a couple of times and now I get emails for each time I tried. Sadly I could not invest because I'm from Canada. Apparently investors from the UK and Canada need to be accredited investors and need to have at least $1,000,000 not counting your home? The only way I could find any answers was by going to Vocals post about the investment in Resources and reading through the comments and reply's. https://shopping-feedback.today/resources/announcing-vocal-s-community-round%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">

  • Disconcerting to say the least... Hope Vocal answers soon. 🧐

They need to post an article about this part of the process at the minimum. It seems confusing and i would be nervous that the emails aren’t actually legit if they don’t seem to know that you paid already.

Hmm! I’ve done investing before but it was a much simpler process. According to the second pic. It looks like the questionnaire was completed, or was it? Can you go back to complete it again? To see if something was missing Or is that not an option? Good luck either way. I’ll be checking these comments to see if someone posts a solution. It will be helpful to others that may run into the same situation.

Very informative. I hope the administrators behind the investment side give more insight on how everything is supposed to work.

  • Grz Colm2 years ago

I can’t help here unfortunately. I’ve not invested anything. I might a small amount, but not too sure. It all sounds interesting to me, but I don’t know why it is still asking for payment. It may be an error though. See what the others think and then msg them if still uncertain. Good luck.
