What's it worth(spoken over Bones by Maren Morris)
What's it worth, is a spoken word poem found on page 39 in my book, Before the world moves on
What if the universe stepped in
when God took rest and decided,
everything will now come with a price?
And nature carried that motion
weaving death into the cycle of life
The more I seek
I find, there’s more that I don’t know
If I have a good day,
unhealthy sleep cycles disrupt my night
I am addicted to this game
I may never win
And if by some miracle I do
that victory will undoubtedly
come at a price
