What's Happening On Vocal?
For Me, Absolutely Nothing
Introduction
I have never appeared on the "What's Happening" and since October have not received a Top Story or honourable mention, and on the 23rd of November, Vocal stopped me from posting on my main account, then ignored (and are still ignoring my emails and tickets) the situation.
I got this comment from Justin on Wednesday and thought something might happen, but it seems it was just to keep me quiet.

Still In Limbo
I thought Justin's comment meant something was being done, but if it were, someone would have contacted me, and they have not. These are two emails that have been sent and not replied to
I saw the "View Ticket " option, but that is only for Vocal tech staff.
I thought Vocal was a community, but I am shocked at the number of people who followed and read my work on my main account who have now effectively dropped me.
Yesterday I dropped into Raise Your Voice and saw that one guy had promoted his own story and was given an immediate Top Story. There is another guy who never gets hearts or reads, but everything he posts is given a Top Story, so to me it says Vocal have a list of favourites and whatever they write get Top Stories.
Conclusion
I am not sure what to do now. People expect and appreciate support from me, but very few publicly reciprocate. I really feel that Vocal are doing their best to make me leave the platform, and I do keep getting close to the edge of walking away.

I saw the guy who self-promoted and got a Top Story. It ticked me off, but I figured, “Hey, what can I do?” The most that Vocal does is give a Top Story to a story or two when I mention them in the Raise Your Voice thread. Apparently, they won’t do anything else. I’m so sorry that this is still happening to you. It’s BS. I thought that if I mentioned it in the Raise Your Voice thread that something might happen, but apparently not. Hopefully, if you keep bugging them, they’ll give in and help you. That’s all that can be tried.
Again, I'm really sorry this is happening to you, Mike. I hope they will resolve the issue soon. Please don't give up.
It's weird, the only email I got was about "Tell us how we did" from the customer service team. Even though I've emailed them three times, I've only received ONE acknowledgement where they give you that reference number and then, simply nothing. Just the "tell us how we did"... "MY BROTHER IN CHRIST YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WTF."
The fact that all of this has transpired and they still haven't done anything!
No Mike, you've appeared 7 times in What's Happening on Vocal. I just checked my emails, and these are the ones that I've not deleted yet. So in total, it'll definitely be more than 7 times. Anyway, I really hope they're doing something to make you be able to post again on your main account
Hey, no, don't do that. Not after all your hard work. You're here not just for Vocal but for yourself -- and you matter to your readers. Give it some time. It might be something that's tied to the algorithms that's a little knotty to undo.
