Considering The Situation III

Introduction

This is partially inspired by the first verse of "The Fat Lady Of Limbourg" from "Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy" by Brian Eno. I think the album cover is a perfect image for the "Considering The Situation" concept.

Well, I rang up Pantucci, spoke to Lu-chi

I gave them all they needed to know

If affairs are proceeding as we're expecting

Considering The Situation

This is just about the effect not being able to publish on Vocal is having on my main account here:

Because this is a backup account, many of my normal audience are unaware of it, so that is a lot of reads that I won't get, maybe.

Although I still comment on stories I like, if my audience go to my profile page, they will see that I have not published for a while and so will assume I am just not writing. Eventually, they may unsubscribe.

The other side is trying to publish on one account and comments on one or both. I do not feel motivated to read others' work, which is lazy of me, but I try.

I keep thinking things are conspiring to make life difficult, but I will do everthing I can to covercome that.

Even since last Saturday, reads have dropped by fifty per cent, and they are not happening on this account.

I am just one person, but this could happen to anyone, and the worst feeling is feeling completely ignored by the Vocal system.

I have maybe a dozen supportive Vocal friends, but to most on the system, I am gone, which is a little upsetting.

Conclusion

I won't let this stop me. The backup account is a great spare tyre thing to have, but it is only a stop gap until th emain account is back up an running.
