Don’t Insult The Things You Wish You Could Have
Don't denigrate the things you hope to possess Oliver was a boy who once lived in a little village encircled by hills and woods. Not only was he witty, but he was also known to make fun of stuff he couldn't afford. Frequently, his pals would caution him, saying, "Don't make fun of the things you wish you could have."

Past Year and Future Intentions
This past year on Vocal, I have seen my true creativity. In 2023 alone, I wrote 16 stories. In total, I have written 58. I’m the type of writer that gets a feeling and I take it and run with it. I had a lot of emotions and thoughts running through my mind in 2023 and I went straight to Microsoft Word and just started typing.

What's on the Other Side?
I thought I closed out 2023 with a villanelle about writing with the Vocal community. Then I thought, why not write some thoughts about going forward on Vocal in 2024? So I did that. Then, Vocal posted a challenge about doing what I had just done. So, here I am, getting ready to do that stuff again. And I'm okay with it. I hope you will be, too and I promise to add some new, hopefully interesting, stuff.

Within its quaint interior, amid the eclectic assortment of artifacts and curiosities, stood an ornate mirror with an elaborate golden frame—a portal to a realm where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blurred.
