Sell me EVERYTHING
Links are so welcome
I have been writing on Vocal for a long time, since 2017 I think, and over that time, I have made many friends who I have seen blossom into accomplished writers.
However, in the flurry of works posted here and elsewhere, I find that an increasing number of your works published outside of Vocal are slipping through my net. I am surprised when I find out that some of you have had books out for years!
I considered looking through all of those I follow on here for those projects and books, but once I tried, I found myself quickly overwhelmed. Thus, I ask you to come to me.
I am asking, with this humble post, that you comment with:
• A work you have published outside of vocal (I am looking for ebooks, paperbacks, external sites, fanfiction, anything!)
• Why YOU like it, or enjoyed writing it.
• Why you think I would like it.
This is a free space to advertise, and I would also encourage others to look at the comments and discover what riches await, because as much as we'd like to think we do, we don't advertise enough!
I am a reader who is ready to devour, and I want you to sell your brilliance to me! I want a TBR pile as long as my own arms (and I have quite the wingspan!), all to read over this holiday period! I am stepping up my reading game.
Also, please let me know if you would like reviews, criticisms, or feedback. I cannot guarantee extensive BETA reading, but I would love to show you how much love I have for your works.
In that spirit, and in the interest of making an example. Here is mine:
Very Vocal Fables is a series of 3 books, available as ebooks or paperbacks, that contain 10 fables - each accompanied by exclusive author's notes from me.
I adore writing fables, and I have loved adding the author's notes to this collection, making the covers from my own photography, and holding my own work in my hands.
The second book in the series is nearly out and expected by early next year, so now is a great time to purchase the first book as a first edition. I think you would find it an informative and fun addition to your bookshelf or e-reader.
In addition to this, I plan to expand my KDP collection in 2026, so if you would like to follow me on Amazon, that would be great! And if you end up reading anything, reviews are most welcome.
Also in 2026, I am hoping to expand my writing to other sites, and perhaps other publishers (with more ethical business practices than Jeff), so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know in the comments under this post.

I haven't published anything outside of Vocal but there's always the chance that I'll finish one of my ongoing novellas and finally pull together a short story collection with bonus novella some day XP I'm glad that this one got Top Story! I think a lot of people are going to find some amazing gems in the comments :)

Hello, I was a member of Vocal a few years ago, and have just returned. I have written 100s of short stories, a few of which are on Vocal. I also have one novel and two novellas on KDP. All of them have received rave reviews from my sister. My favorite is called Feedback Loop. I like it because of the MC Stan. He is deeply flawed and most likely will never change, but he does have a good side. You may like it if you enjoy character-driven sci-fi. At least I hope you do. If it were a movie, it would get an "R" rating. One mild sex scene, but a lot of violence; the scenes are not graphic. A few details, no more than is needed to serve the story.
