My Trick in Writing

My Trick in Writing

Since I devoted myself to writing, I started to become serious with it.

When I say serious, I treat it as an 8 to 5 job, the only difference though is I’m excited to sit in my chair and ready to write.

But in writing, you can’t just sit at your table at 8:00 AM and expect the words to easily flow and ideas to pour in. This is one of my frustrations in this creative realm.

It’s also what defines writing fun and mysterious.

I realize that writing wants to have fun at first, to tickle our minds and flow freely through our words. (Isn’t that what we all felt when we first enjoyed writing?)

After that magical time with writing, if you want to share it, the seriousness comes in.

As one of the advices that I've read before, "edit it mercilessly". Seriously.

Whether we like it or not, some people cringe when they see wrong spelling, incorrect grammar, and most especially cluttered ideas in a story.

And we can’t blame them.

For you and I, let’s enjoy the magic and fun in writing we once had(and still have I hope), then if you want to share your story with other people,

edit it- for your sanity,

for their readability,

and all in all - for your credibility and a flavor of your creativity.

After polishing it, it’s time to let it go.

You’ve birthed a story, let it grow.

Whatever the result is, just sit back and relax.

The real fun in writing already transpired in the beginning.

You have nothing to lose.

You have more to be surprised about.

You’ve added something beautiful to the creative world.

Then wait and see how its “beauty” connects with the readers.

I agree to many things you said here. It's work, but fun, and satisfying. With practice, we get better.

Yes, treating writing literally like an 8 to 5 job doesn’t work because writing has its own agenda. Even when being done as a job, the creative flow has its own agenda and timing. ⏳

Life can be so cruel sometimes but even worst when you have a cheating partner. I got to discover my spouse was having an affair through the help of { VLADIMIRHACKWORLD @ GM AIL C O M } who gave me access to his device remotely without his notice. I got access to all social media apps, call logs and sms and deleted data and messages too. Do not be a victim to lies and mischief. Get in contact with him and stay safe.
