"Where did you see yourself five years ago and who you are today?
I was the girl who danced with glee at the sight of candies bought by my father. Now, I am the woman who settles the dinner bills.
I was the girl who found endless summer days boring. Today, I am the woman who longs for the solace of a weekend.
I was the girl who pledged weekly meetups with friends, yet now, time slips through my fingers like grains of sand.
I was the girl who cried for the vibrant colors of a birthday dress. Today, I adorn myself in muted tones, a reflection of maturity.
I was the girl who pleaded with my parents for dinners out. Now, I savor all three meals in solitary moments in a bustling restaurant.
I was the girl who eagerly awaited festivals for the chance to don a new dress. And today, I stand adorned, not for a festival, but for Women's Day.
A lot took its place. Yet here I am living the story of each passing day." ❤️
Looking back over the last few years, I see that growth never stops and that change is unavoidable. Some of whom I have changed beyond recognition, but some things about me have remained constant and have helped me remain faithful to who I am.
Through this path, I've learned how to be resilient in the face of adversity, to be grateful for the little things in life, and to value the time spent with loved ones. I see myself going forward continuing to seize the chances and difficulties that present themselves, confident that every encounter will mold me into the person I was destined to be.
I look forward to the adventures that lie ahead with an open heart and a curious mind, knowing that I can handle any route that comes my way.
My words of encouragement to my women,
The path from girlhood to womanhood is significant and characterized by several emotional and physical changes. It is a transformation that defines the essence of womanhood by reshaping one's identity, values, and goals.
The transition from girlhood to womanhood has a similarly profound emotional impact. Girls struggle with various emotions as they age, from confidence and self-assurance to uncertainty and self-doubt. They gain experience defining their values and ideas, navigating relationships, and navigating society's expectations. Young women are exploring and growing at this period as they gain a better grasp of who they are and where they fit in the world.
Girls are led by the women in their lives—mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and mentors—who act as role models and knowledgeable sources along this journey. They influence young women's self-perception and interactions with the outside world by imparting important lessons on strength, resilience, and compassion.
Women need to cherish their originality and embrace their unique personalities as they make the transition from childhood to adulthood. They have to learn to love and accept who they are, understanding that genuine beauty comes from having courage, being nice, and being honest.
In the end, the metamorphosis from girlhood to womanhood is an extremely intimate and life-changing event. Women embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and growth, growing into strong, resilient, and empowered women who are prepared to take on the possibilities and challenges that lie ahead. They bring with them the lessons learned from the past, hopes for the future, and steadfast faith in their ability and strength as they travel through this trip.
To all the Women who once were a girl, I quote, "Push Yourself, Don't Settle, Just Live." You're right where you should be, no matter what stage of life you're in.
