Introduction

I feel like I am banging on a door, but there is no one in. This is the last communication on the situation that has stopped me from producing brand new stories on Vocal since November 23rd.

A Mad Maximum

It looks like your account has hit a maximum story limit tied to platform security (i.e., how many calls/requests can be made)

I think it's right that there is a limit to the number of stories we can post in a given timeframe, maybe ten a day (I think the most I have done is five in a day). We don't want the platform to be flooded, especially with AI stories.

The implication is that the maximum limit, as well as stories, includes calls and requests, which could mean comments as well, which means that every supportive comment I leave knocks my count up.

If I delete a story, I cannot post a new one to replace it.

I thought my subscriptions might affect my ability to post, but I have reduced them from 900 to less than 300 with no effect.

If space were a problem, then others would be affected, and they are not being. I am the only one who cannot post anything new, it seems.

It is getting more difficult to find stories to reuse, and once I do that, they are effectively gone from Vocal.

The other thing is that since my last Top Story in October, added to this situation, I have not even made the leaderboard because people no longer see me as a favoured Vocal creator, though my audience and friends still read and comment on my work, and I know it is excellent.
