Light Still Shines

When the world feels dark and cold,

And silence whispers stories untold,

When fear creeps in like tides at night,

And dreams dissolve beyond your sight.

Hold on, dear soul, don’t lose your way,

The storm won’t last, it cannot stay.

The stars still shine behind the grey,

The sun will rise, come what may.

I know the weight upon your chest,

The restless nights, the aching stress.

But even flowers fight through stone,

And even lost hearts find their home.

You are more than all your fears,

Stronger than the hidden tears.

One step, one breath just take it slow,

The light within still longs to glow.

So when the darkness calls your name,

Rise again, despite the pain.

For hope is quiet, but it’s real,

And time will teach your heart to heal.
