A peek into my book.

Trump, Roosevelt, Candice Owens, Benladin, Musk, Hitler, Charlie Kirk.

Recognise these names? Remind you of something? What about when I say Biko? Mandela, Rosa Parks, Fatima?

Let me tell you, the difference is right and left. understand? In other words. Liberal and conservative. Whats liberal? A liberal supports change, individual freedoms, equality, and often wants the government to help solve social and economic problems.

A conservative values tradition, stability, personal responsibility, and usually wants less government interference in the economy.

This article portrays some of the work from my soon to be published book. Welcome to Liberals vs Conservatives. Im going to talk about democracy, economy, political leaders and more.

Lets start with socialism and capitalism. Capitalism is an economic system where private individuals or businesses own and control property and resources, and goods are produced for profit in a free market.

Socialism is an economic system where the government or the community owns and controls resources and industries, aiming for equal distribution of wealth and social welfare. Which one sounds better, no poverty and driving a cheap car or driving a Ferrari but passing many beggars on the road. Politically speaking, at its extremes, conservative polices adopted the ideology of capitalism, and liberals, socialism. Due to the present globalised world, the corporate sector, are immensely powerful, and they are making the state more subservient by affecting the democratic process. For example, in America, Elon Musk gave so much money for Trump to be elected. So the democratic process is affected by the right wingers. Then they put their people in power and ensure the corporate sector is more powerful than the workers and state.

Socialists say that capitalism causes the inequality, capitalists say socialism caused a problem. So now they are antagonistic to each-other, both claiming they want a better thing for the poor man, yet the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Now by the democratic process being defied by right wingers. This paves the way for the movement of dictatorship. Yes, you heard right, capitalism is affecting democracy and insighting dictatorship.

But lets leave that for now. Lets take a look at the role Gender plays, how do political stances regarding left and right wing play into the world of gender equality? From animal times, the male has been considered the strongest, and that’s what many conservatives adopted as their ideology. That’s the mistake, humans as a whole made. One of the reason we have so much Gender based viloence, because our conservative forefathers adopted the idea of men being better than women. So, when we look at liberalism and the leftwing, due to their ideology of equality and and acceptance for everyone, they’ve been able to veer away from the olden day “orthodoxy” views. And that for me, is the most important difference between liberalism and conservatism.

Before I get further, I don’t think we should categorise people into liberalism and conservatism, we are all human. But if-we are all human, why are some starving to death, some dying due to their economic status. Just imagine that for a second. People are dying, dying due to a so-called social construct of money. Women are being raped due a belief that men are stronger than women. Children are being blown up so bigger nations can profit off the war.

In the end, liberalism isn’t just a political stance,it’s a belief that tomorrow can be more just, more free, and more compassionate than today, if we have the courage to fight for it.
