Sometimes, it feels as if everything is predetermined; a destiny ordained by a higher power for a “me” who is living.
When there is a sense of being (being an experiencer, being “me,” being...), within space-time, (the illusion of being comes with the illusion of space-time), it may seem that everything is predetermined — perhaps as a reaction to wonder, or to not knowing.
But, for anything to be predetermined, separation must occur:
a separation between two — one having a plan for the other — and that is another story told within the illusion of being.
This cannot be determined before or after; you can’t even say “now” is the only time, because before and after (time) are only appearances — they do not exist.
It cannot be predetermined, because there is no one or thing to do or not do it; no one or thing to surrender or not surrender to it; and separation has never occurred.
This is not a belief or a slogan.
This — all that is — is not according to something predetermined.
It is not a moment ahead or behind.
It is immediate; timeless.
Life is not a stream going forward or backward, up or down, this way or that — even if it doesn’t seem that way.
This — all that is — has no cause, no pursuit of purpose, no expectation of outcome.
This immediacy is not a concept, not a contrast to a predetermined plan, not a thing to define or to grasp.
