3500?
15 Days Since I Could Last Post On My Main Account

Introduction
It's now fifteen days since I could post on my main account here.
As I said in my last post on the situation, I do not want to be writing these pieces, but it is the only way I can let people know what is happening. However, most of my regular readers think I have stopped writing or have done something wrong. It's never Vocal's fault, is it?
Some Points Of Interest
One person who is given a Top Story for everything he posts in chapters, is close to three thousand posts, and another poet is up to three thousand two hundred posts, but I don't expect the former of those to hit any problems. Maybe he is a Vocal moderator who just gives himself a Top Story.
I hit a problem six months ago when I was getting close to three thousand stories, and now I am getting close to three thousand five hundred I have hit it again.
THERE SHOULD BE NO LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF STORIES WE CAN PUBLISH.
I could understand limiting the number of stories in a day, but I have stopped subscribing when people flood my feed.
I got this reply on Friday, but have heard nothing since, and I still cannot use my main account.

Six months ago, I was talking to the tech team and the situation was sorted in about ten days.
It has been fifteen days now.
I think they did not remove the limit but upped it from three thousand to three thousand five hundred. That is not an adequate solution. The limit must be removed, though it wouldn't surprise me if it was upped to four thousand, and this happens again in six months.
Conclusion
Thank you for reading.
This has been a Public Service Announcement to let you know where I am with this, so I have included "Signal 60" by Public Service Broadcasting, as that sums up my mood at the moment.
Give it a listen. It is brilliantly relentless, and lots of the lines could be applied to Vocal's technical and customer service.

This was a profile for my more adventurous posts. Now I'm using it for an emergency backup. A glitch has stopped me from posting on my main account and Vocal refuse to acknowledge my tickets

I'm still not sure why there's a limit to publications at 3000 because I emailed them some time ago about this issue being raised before and they told me there was no limit. However, I see you here having clearly experienced the opposite. I'm just really confused. Thanks for keeping us updated with what's going on by the way, it's very informative.
I remember that you sent to the group chat, where BI said that the issue might be due to having a large number of Saved Stories. Have you tried clearing it?
Thanks for the update. I agree there shouldn't be a limit... except maybe to how many you can post in one day. I too have also unsubscribed from people flooding my feed.
Thank you for keeping up us updated, even if not many of your regular readers are able to see it. Are you able to edit the profile on your main account just enough to let them know to go to this account for updates, at least until there’s a solution (whenever that may be)? It might be the best you can do to keep your regular readers in the know.
This is so frustrating for a loyal reader, I can't even begin to imagine how much more frustrating it is for you as the author. I agree that there should be no limit to the number of legitimate stories published by legitimate writers. But I imagine, like everything else that is wrong with Vocal, this has ties to the constant battle with AI. I think you hit the solution on the head though, they could put in a daily publication limit that would keep AI from flooding the platform but wouldn't punish creators who have spent years building their portfolio and following. I want you to know how much I appreciate that you continue to fight to make Vocal better for all of us. You have a passion and dedication that most of the world lacks these days. I'm a far cry from reaching that 3000 mark, but when I finally publish 3001 I will know I was able to because you paved the way for the rest of us. Your like the big brother that forges a trail for the rest of us to follow so we don't get lost in the pitfalls. So on behalf of all of us, Thank You.
I ned to sign in on my paid account in the hope that enough V+ people read it to get on the Leaderboard. If you are not V+, you don't count for the Leaderboard
The last time this happened I published 19 stories on this account. So far with this lockout I have published 29 stories, and Vocal are being very quiet
