I would research on topics unknown to me (like brain wavelength, neuroscience, etc.) and then write on those topics. As a result, I got demotivated to write and wanted to quit writing.

There was no content planner available to me and I did not know anything about it.

That was 2.5 years ago.

Later, I learned about the benefits of planning the content. There were many content planners available on the internet but nothing worked for me.

So I created my own planner.

I want to share the planner with you for FREE but before that let me tell the benefits of using a simple content planner.

Benefit #1 : It gives a high-level overview for the next few weeks content

A 90-days content plan gives you a high-level overview of your content backlog for the next three months.

So, you know the short-term roadmap of your writing journey. If you do not have any plan at all, you may become directionless after writing for a few days and get confused about what to write next.

You need not plan for the next year ( if you are a pro, you can do) but as a beginner, you can start with a 30 days or 90 days planner.

Benefit #2 : It helps to keep track of the contents published in different platforms

When you re-purpose contents in different platforms, a content planner becomes helpful to keep a track on what contents you publsih on which platform.

During my initial writing journey, often I would lose track on the publsihed contents and ended up publishing same conten twice.

This problem can be avoided if you keep a simple content planner recording all the contents publsihed on different platforms.

Benefit #3 : You can adjust the content plan according to the performance

In the content plan, add a single entry to record the performance of the content.

It helps you to customize content plan for the next few weeks.

For example, if you see a tweet is performing well, then you get an indication that the topic has some value for the readers. So you can plan for longform contents on that topic.

Now, that you know the major benefits of using a content planner, its time to share the free content planner that I have created.
