Start writing...As I mentioned in my last article, the 80s were a tough time for fast car dreamers like myself. Especially for those of us that loved the old American Muscle Cars. Some of the Supercars in the 80s were still impressive, but the days of high horsepower, high torque, go fast in a straight line American Muscle Cars was mostly gone.

The 80s along with the mid-70s is probably the hardest decade to find really cool-looking and great-performing cars. Especially Muscle Cars during that era. I was a teenager in the mid-80s in Northern CA when smog laws were the bane of all us Muscle Car fans.

So far I've written two articles about Muscle Cars from 1970, my birth year, that I'd love to own as well as one about cars from the 70s you might not think of as Muscle Cars, but can still be customized to look and perform very well. I also wrote about some awesome Restomods and some classic sports cars I would absolutely love to own. And finally, I wrote an article about the two relatively fast cars I've owned and some of the truly fast cars I have driven.

My Silly Classic Sports Car Dreams
You might notice that I include a lot of Youtube videos from Jay Leno's Garage in this article. There are a couple of reasons for that. First, so often when it comes to cars Jay not only owns one or more of them, but he is also extremely knowlegeble about them. The second reason is because my other sort of paying hobby besides writing is doing stand up comedy and of course Jay Leno is an absolute GOAT when it comes to stand up comedy.
