New Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe launched

Mercedes-Benz has officially announced the launch of the new C-Class Coupe, which is available in two models.

New car features.

Based on the new C-Class sedan version / more elegant appearance than the sedan version

The new C-Class Coupe is based on the new C-Class sedan version. The design of the front part of the car is basically the same as the new C-Class, with the front grille using a diamond-style center grille, a single horizontal trim strip running through and a large LOGO making the new car more refined. Turning to the side, the design of the new car from the roof to the rear is the same as that of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe. The delicate and smooth lines make the new C-Class Coupe have a more elegant temperament than the sedan version, and the suspension height of the new C-Class Coupe is lowered by 15mm compared to the new C-Class sedan version, and the body is also lower, with a wind resistance coefficient of only 0.26.

The rear of the new car is more different from the new C-Class sedan version, and the new car adopts a flat rear design similar to the S-Class Coupe. The end of the trunk of the new car is raised upwards, forming a small spoiler to increase the aerodynamic effect. The taillights have a long horizontal bar design with the same LED light source incorporated inside. In addition, the frameless doors are standard equipment for the Coupe, and will not be absent.

Exquisite interior workmanship

The interior design of the new C-Class Coupe is the same as that of the new C-Class sedan version, with more sporty adjustments to the details and more elaborate materials used in the interior. The flat-bottom steering wheel and gearshift paddles remind the driver that this is a sports model. The new center console uses a piano lacquer finish and can be equipped with optional Berlin sound, the overall interior is not cliche.

With high / low power version of the 2.0T engine / with 7-speed automatic transmission / optional air suspension

In terms of power, the new C-Class Coupe will be equipped with high and low-power 2.0T turbocharged engines depending on the model, of which the C 200 Coupe is equipped with a low-power version, with a maximum power of 184 hp and peak torque of 300 NM; the C 300 Coupe is equipped with a high power version, with a maximum power of 245 hp and peak torque of 370 NM. The new transmission system is equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the car can also be equipped with AIRMATIC air suspension as an option, and the softness of the suspension can be adjusted by selecting the driving mode.

The history of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe can be traced back to the CLK model developed based on the first-generation C-Class. After the launch of the third generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204), Mercedes-Benz officially classified the CLK model within the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sequence, and the model name was changed to C-Class Coupe, and the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe car currently on sale was officially released in 2015.

Competitors.
