Your Guide to NYC's Cafe - Let me walk you through to find the best one
NYC is a gem for Cafe lovers

There are two things that I look forward to in New York: the energy of the city and the coffee that is found in every nook and cranny. Being a coffee lover for some time now, I have certainly lost count of how many mornings and afternoons I used to spend finding out what I consider to be the best coffee and best cafes in New York City. Let me give you a personalized tour of a few of the places that I love most.
My affair with coffee may start as early as in the morning with the noisy, crowded Stumptown Coffee Roasters in Ace Hotel on 29th Street. At first sight, the first thing that comes into your nose is the rich aroma of freshly ground beans. Here, the baristas are wizards who turn mere beans into what people consider gold. Among their cup of excellence, their cold brew stands out; it is thick, strong, and way too pleasant for any taker, particularly on a very hot sunny day.
Then, usually, following my breakfast, I would slowly walk past Bryant Park, where Blue Bottle Coffee is located. If there is one Cold Coffee I must recommend is Blue Bottle's New Orleans Iced Coffee, It is sweet, creamy, rich with chicory flavoring that sends the message of joy in every cup of my morning coffee.
As the day progresses and people take a break around noon, nothing is more soothing than finding a comfortable corner to take a break with a warm cup of coffee. Among the chains I recommend is Joe Coffee Company, which is located in the Greenwich Village region. This cafe can be described as a haven for all those who understand the rewards of getting a well-made cup of coffee. Their cappuccino was one of the tastiest I have ever had; the foam was soft and thick, and the coffee was strong but smooth.
The other marvelous work is Birch Coffee, located on East 27th Street. This coffee shop, apart from the outstanding brews, More about this venue, has a very strong resemblance to a library. On the second floor, there is a library where one may read newspapers or books, with cozy furniture to match. Here, I prefer a coffee brewed through the pour-over process that fully gives the taste of beans.
What follows is a continuation of my search for the best cafes and coffee in NYC as I visit some of the most remote parts of the city. For instance, you have Devoción in Williamsburg. As soon as a person walks into this cafe, he will feel they are in a green oasis. Their direct trade coffee is sourced and flown in from Columbia; therefore, they serve the freshest cup of coffee one can attain. One of the products that stands out the most is the cascara tea, which is made from the dried skins of coffee cherries; it is a perfect beverage.
Therefore, the Lower East Side has Ludlow Coffee Supply as a unique place to sit and work. The atmosphere of this cafe can be characterized as relaxed and fresh, which is exactly what is needed after a hard working week. What is rather a beverage here that stunned me: the espresso tonic, a balance between the espresso, the tonic water, and a touch of citrus. It is refreshing and rather experimental, arguably characterizing NYC's coffee circuit.
Among the three typically attractive factors, one of the pleasures of drinking coffee in NYC stores is discovering outlets that are not easy to find. One is Café Integral, located on the ground floor of the American Two Shot boutique in SoHo. Though this is a Nicaraguan coffee spot, it boasts various single-origin coffees to expose customers to Nicaraguan beans' cultural tastes. The personnel here are truly professionals; they take pride in what they serve, their espresso.
Finally, you can visit Happy Bones in Nolita—a coffee shop with a restrained and simple interior where it is nice to enjoy good coffee and silence. The flat white here is on point and creamy to its core, and it sets off the boldness of the espresso just right.
For the locals or if you are visiting NYC, this will help you understand why the best coffee in NYC is superb.
