Cleveland is steeped in railroad heritage, has an amazing park system, and is a suburb of Chattanooga.

Enjoy the forested Fletcher Park with a Japanese garden and multiple walking trails.

The Red Clay State Historic Park nicely blends nature and cultural heritage. This historic pastureland was once a Native American hub. The park offers hiking, picnicking, and communing with nature.

Known for its Southern hospitality, Dyersburg sits near the Tennessee-Missouri border. Each year it hosts the Spring Arts Festival.

The town is a pedestrian-friendly corridor that offers a diverse mix of culinary flavors. Moustos Pasta & Grill offers authentic Italian cuisine.

Paying tribute to warriors who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country is the Dyer County Veterans’ Walk of Fame. Its surreal atmosphere features a Civil War-era cannon and a memorial stone.

Gatlinburg, located at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is among the most visited small towns in the state.

A marine sanctuary with sharks, penguins, giant turtles, and much more, visitors enjoy Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.

Take in the surrounding natural beauty at the Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook.

And of course, enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Greenville was named in honor of the Revolutionary War hero, Nathaniel Green.

This is the hometown of the 17th US President Andrew Johnson. The Andrew Johnson Historic Site includes his two homes, a tailor shop, and his graveside.

You can learn about the history of the state’s second-oldest community at the Greenville Greene County Historical Museum.

It is home to Tusculum University and has become an arts and culture hub.

Niswonger Performing Arts Center features stage productions that include comedy, musical, and drama shows.

Lynchburg is located in south-central Tennessee and is the home of the state’s most popular export, Jack Daniel’s whiskey.

Visit the Jack Daniel’s Distillery, which also features a museum that explains the brand's evolution and exhibits rare memorabilia and archives.

For history lovers, visit the Moore County Old Jail Museum, a 19th-century jailhouse that provides a look into the life of prisoners with original cells, wall hangings, old clothing, and other historical artifacts.

Don’t miss the town’s restaurant famous for its Southern-style delicacies, Barrel House BBQ.

The lovely mountain community of Pigeon Forge is located in eastern Tennessee.

Visitors enjoy The Island, featuring lots of entertainment with a Ferris wheel, thrill rides, shops, and restaurants. For the adventurous there is the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster.

The town is also known for its unique museums, such as the Hollywood Wax Museum.

Located in Lauderdale County, Ripley offers a family-friendly atmosphere.

Visitors enjoy the Ripley City Park with walking paths, picnic pavilions, and sports fields.

Enjoy the Chickasaw National Wildlife Refuge stretching along the Mississippi River.

Sitting on the banks of the Tennessee River is the village of Savannah.

The village includes the Wayne Jerrolds River Park with walking paths, picnic areas, and a boat ramp.

The Tennessee River Museum documents the colorful heritage of the Tennessee River Valley through rare artifacts and memorabilia.

Lovely Smithville sits on the shores of Center Hill Lake.

The Hidden Harbor Marina offers boating, water skiing, and paddling.

Golf lovers will enjoy the Smithville Golf Club with 9-hole pristine greens.

In south-central Tennessee is Tullahoma, known for its natural landscapes and lively arts community.

Learn about the town’s aviation history at the Beechcraft Heritage Museum.

The Tullahoma Fine Arts Center is an Italianate venue showcasing an assortment of woodwork, paintings, and textile art produced by regional artists.

The Short Springs Natural Area has many scenic trails to follow with amazing waterfalls.
