Yep, you heard that right! Louisiana has peaches, too
Ah, June in north Louisiana...can I say say: hot, humid, and rainy?
What else comes to mind? The Annual Peach Festival & all its miscellany!
Everybody from miles around comes to gather for the fun, music, and art,
But me? Call me old-fashioned... the peach ice cream is dear to my heart!
Peaches have been a tradition here in these parts since way back in 1930...
Farmers thought showing off and tasting their goods might cause a spree!
Those juicy, fuzzy, sweet delights can be smelled and savored all around!
We've come to celebrate and give homage to the goodness that abounds.
Come close and I'll let you in a little surprise about me as a teen:
I sold baskets of peaches at a roadside stand and thought I was so keen!

Manaslu Circuit Trek
The 11 nights 12 days trek in the Manaslu conservation area of Gorkha district is one of the best multi day trek that trekkers can do in Nepal. Peach ice-cream isn't a flavour I've had before Shirley, but I feel like it would be excellent😊
My brother lived in Alabama, but he always talked about Louisiana. He had peached growing in his back yard, although he lived on 180 acre farm in Little River Alabama. The peaches look wonderful. I hope the peach festival went well this year.
Love peaches but I didn’t know there was a festival about it. I have heard about mango festival but now I know there is peach too. Wonder other fruits have their own festival around the globe
How much are these peaches per pound?
