The Genius Idea of Stopovers in Warsaw
Normally I aim to spend anywhere from two to three hours between connecting flights at international airports before moving on promptly to my final destination. In the adventure my wife and I undertook, we had a stopover in Warsaw of a whopping seven-and-a-half hours **during the day**. There is no way any airport is so good to spend that much time there during the day, so we were definitely going to see the city. But was it worth it? Could we see something and get back to our connecting flight without being frazzled?

"Kartveli" Performance
My niece and I went to see this performance on December 20, 2025. It is also adjacent to an exclusive beachside community (i.e., Mamsha Al Saadiyat), with a lovely promenade lined with lovely restaurants and cafés overlooking expansive sea views.

Froggyland: A Wonder of the World
“Have you ever heard of Froggyland?” I have asked this question a million times in the past month, to friends, to students, to colleagues, to Tinder matches, to whosoever will listen to the ramblings of a madman (me). Have you, dear reader, ever heard of Froggyland? I thought not. It’s not a place you read about in the history textbooks. No wars were fought over it, no huddled masses ever sought refuge there. No kings were crowned in Froggyland, and therefore none were overthrown in bloody or bloodless revolution. Froggyland is Froggyland, simple as that.

The Resilient Colossus: America’s Enduring Stride in a Fractured World. AI-Generated.
The Resilient Colossus: America’s Enduring Stride in a Fractured World In the intricate tapestry of global civilization, the United States of America stands as both an enigma and an emblem — a nation simultaneously admired, criticized, and unavoidably central to the narrative of the modern age. As the twenty-first century unfolds with bewildering velocity, the question echoing through the corridors of diplomacy and discourse is simple yet monumental: *Can the United States preserve its stature as the lodestar of global influence amidst unprecedented turbulence?*
