Where are you Ms Ardern?
Revealing the true colours of a once-charmed leader

It took a day in the heat to get our bus ready, to join the convoy to Parliament in Wellington over two weeks ago. The current price of diesel called it a $500 round trip. The chalk paint with our slogans on the windows held up, just.. we lost a couple of flags but gained morale - as in each small town we trundled through hundreds came out - in the rain, some with tears streaming down their cheeks, some standing on fences to thank us, waving flags, signs and giving us thumbs up and whole body enthusisatic support. Every bridge over the motorways in the cities. We felt like rockstars. So, to experience that part alone was worth it.
We have long since departed on the 7 hour drive home for parental duties and to feed animals. But others stayed, and more have since arrived. After seventeen days occupying parliament grounds, not one politician in our small, so called democratic country has even shown up at a window. Much less come out to speak to us. So much for our 'kind' Prime Minister who it is being revealed on the daily that she is well entrenched as one of the global elite. Ah, the pennie's dropping. She's showing her true colours alright. She insists on painting 'the protestors' with a tawdy brush of scorn, disdain, dismissal of them, of their claims. Amazing. What the heck else is going on?
My experience of the 3 days spent in Wellington were of hope, unity of our brothers and sisters there with good intention. I spoke to people who have lost jobs, folk who have been injured by this so called 'vaccine', I saw happy children, ate delicious free food. I even played songs I have penned to Ms Ardern on the steps of parliament, my friends posting to facebook with the title 'History' adorning the video. Schucks. At that point I was one of only a few musicians who had showed up for this movement. No well-known NZ Musicians. I wonder why that is? Jason Kerrison of OpShop has since turned up. Good on ya Jason. We had mini woodstock evening performances under the trees at the adjacent University grounds, a healing, supportive environment a balm to our souls in contrast to the alienation and discrimination we have all been facing on a daily basis.
By the third day, the day we left, darling Ms Ardern had set her grisly dogs aka the NZ Police onto the pesky people on her lawn. Scenes of violence - all incited by the police who are supposed to protect us. I went live on facebook and cried as I tried to send love and songs and advice to link arms and stay calm. I was as invested in anything as I had ever been. Now, I am still coming to terms with the harrowing videos I have seen of eye gouging and punching of innocent people at the hands of police, and overall the lack of aknowledgment we experienced, and continue to. How can thousands of good people gather on NZ parliament for genuine reasons and be so unheard? Even by the Green Party? I take solace that we are no longer unheard. The world is watching, and I feel like part of global history in the making.
Back to our old friend Ms Ardern. Who has the embarrassing NZ media wrapped around her little finger. Little miss can't be wrong. As she dismisses and sneers about 'what we're seeing out infront of parliament at present.' Yes, Cindy, what you're seeing is good people pushed to the brink. They've had enough. So much so some are willing to get in boats they've sailed themselves across the Cook Strait for heavens sake. You're suppoesedly in charge so they've come to let you know. They're angry, they're waiting to speak with you.
I am really looking forward to seeing what comes of this woman. It's becoming glaringly obvious what her true colours are. Heck, the man who's responsible for putting her in her position old Winston Peters is even calling her out on it. I am really interested to see how long she can keep up this charade and display of her chillingly, anything but kind, true colours.
