The interior part of Karnataka is filled with such lush and thick forest surrounded by the Western Ghats. But, this article is not about the movie. Exploring the land of Kantara - 1
Our trip started with the idea of visiting just one temple called the Moogambikai temple in Kollur, Karnataka. We flew from Chennai to Mangalore via Indigo airlines and took a cab to the hotel which was an hour away from Mangalore International airport. Our stay was in Country Inn & Suites by Radisson group in Manipal. A great place to stay with excellent amenities including their exceptional morning breakfast. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Manipal. Manipal is a beautiful little city in the interiors of Karnataka. This place is known for the famous Manipal University. The city buzzes with university grads from different places.
