The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel
The Kelpies The Kelpies A few years ago I was driving up the M9 towards Dollar in Scotland, it was dark and raining and suddenly I nearly crashed the car when I saw two huge hundred-foot-high horses' heads to my left-hand side. I had to pull over. I am not sure if I tried to take a photograph but I was dumbfounded.

Arnhem is Pretty
It’s liberating to be able to travel again. I brought my Covid pass and my negative LFT, but in the end, they didn’t even look at it. They didn’t seem bothered that not everyone was wearing a mask. They even asked me to take it off whilst doing the passport checks. When I was flying with Ryanair to Cork, they asked us to wear masks during the flight.

How to Get to Ipswich
Ipswich is located 40 km from the Brisbane CBD and is a popular hot spot for heritage and vintage architecture. The city is serviced by the beautiful Bremer River and is one place worth checking out the next time you are in Southeast Queensland. Getting there is pretty easy with a park and ride facility offered to people arriving by car. If you are interested in learning more about how to get to Ipswich check out the rest of this article.

London on a Budget
The cost of living crisis has hit everyone hard (what kind of world are we living in when McDonald's has put the price of cheeseburgers up by 20p?!), and many people now need to factor that into their travel plans. For me, that means I'm trying to go to all the places I want to visit in my own country of Britain. The most recent city break I had was to the capital London. And although travel costs were reduced for me, it is of course still a very expensive city. However, if you're careful, you can have a great time on a budget. I've tried to break some of this down. And even folks from abroad who have made it to the capital but are still concerned about costs may find some of this advice useful.

Interesting Locations Around Dublin, Ireland. Top Story - August 2022.
I'm about to embark on a 10-day trip to the Emerald Isle, and I'm counting the days! Like the geeky and adventurous tourist that I am, I enjoy doing more than the "typical" research before I go.
