Unorthodoxford adventure
I can’t remember why I wanted to go to Oxford. To visit, that is. I knew I would never get into the university. It might be because I’m a fan of The Lord of the Rings and Inspector Morse, but I’m sure there was something more specific. Anyhow, I first tried to convince my friends to go with me (as the group in question had never been on holiday together) in 2020, and let’s just say I think they were fairly grateful when lockdown put a stop to that.

I think my country is incredibly beautiful. No, really, I do truly believe it is. Unfortunately, the only well-known place here is Bran with its very spooky lore and Dracula themed atmosphere. It's unfortunate, really, given that we have plenty of waterfalls, ancient extinct volcanoes, glacial lakes and stunning caves. We also have more man-made wonders that don't get enough recognition. Today, I'm going to be presenting you a list of five of my favourite places to see in Romania.

Retrieving Bike Keys and The Full Moon
Yesterday I met Juliana, I swear, she is some sort of good luck charm because it only took one throw of the ball (to which a string was tied) to get that sock down from the tree. The sock had the bikes keys in it— it’s a long story. Juliana has such light and positive energy, she’s excited about everything, and you should have seen her when she got on that bike, she was thrilled! “OMG I have a bike now! I have a bike!” she yelled out as she rode in excitement.

From Wanderlust to Obsession
often ponder how it all came to be, what triggered the change. Perhaps you can shed some light on it in the comments section? It was in 1986 when my mother surprised us with the news of a holiday. A holiday! My mind immediately jumped to the possibility of revisiting Polperro, as until then, I had only experienced three "holidays," all within our country. Two trips to the charming Cornish town of Polperro and one to Barking, part of Greater London, summed up my 11 years of life. However, to my amazement, my mother, a newly divorced single mother, revealed that we were traveling to Elounda in Crete, Greece.
