Whether embarking on a Eurotrip or a weekend jaunt to a foreign city, European travel requires some smart planning; you may know all the must-see landmarks, but we provide the hidden gems.
Pros and Cons of Prague
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic, and last weekend I was there for a city break. Having barely visited Central Europe prior to this trip, I was amazed by all the beautiful architecture. Everywhere you look, there is a beautiful bridge or building to admire. The weather was also way better than expected, it was mid-October and too warm to wear a jacket. Here are some quick pros and cons of Prague.

Ranking My City Breaks Worst to Best
I've travelled to quite a few places now, let's see how they all rank. 10. London—United Kingdom Maybe I was too young to truly appreciate London but I've been once and never had the desire to return. I was sixteen when I went and it was on a school trip so that may have factored into why I didn't enjoy it as much as I maybe should have. It could also be that, being from Scotland, the culture in London isn't far off what I already have and so I'm not really learning anything new from the experience. Regardless of never wanting to go back, I did enjoy my walk around China Town.

The Albanian Maneuver
“Too much.” “Too much?” The gas station attendant thumbed through the crumpled bills stuffed into an envelope he held and shrugged. More lek. The last thing we needed was more Albanian currency. We were leaving the country in an hour. The car didn’t need much gas, but the rental agreement demanded it be returned with a full tank. The €50 note I had given him glowed red in the midst of the pale blue Albanian money.

Summer Travel to Warwick Castle in England Makes Great Educational Experience for Kids
What could be more painful to a kid than hearing that the weekend will be spent at an upstate Renaissance Fair. On the other hand, recreating the middle ages becomes a lot more interesting when a trip to England can provide ample infrastructure of the era and the living history to go with it. Sort of reporting from England, I recently traveled overseas to visit my English Girlfriend, and Warwick Castle in Warwick, England was a Saturday destination.

The French-Speaking Countries that Every Traveler Should Visit
Most people know that French is a very popular language that has a large influence on the world today. What a lot of people don’t know however is exactly how many countries around the world speak this wonderful language. In total, there are 29 countries where French is an official language. That is over 10% of all countries that exist on Earth. Not every country that speaks French is a place that you absolutely must visit, but there definitely are a handful that are highly-recommended. Let’s take a look.

Leaving It All Behind Is Never Easy
On September 21, 2019, I arrived in my new home in Falmouth, England. I left friends, family, and late night taco bell trips behind in America; Dallas, Texas to be specific. I did it for good reasons. My husband, who I met online nearly nine years ago, is British. It was easier for me to move to him, then it would have been for him to move to me, so that’s what we did. We were married this past June after numerous back-and-forth-visits, and after a few agonizing months of waiting for a UK Spouse Visa to process, I was on the plane over.

Monaco: All the Money in the World
Even the toilet has a beautiful view. The window is open, and the smell of the bright sea drifts in to mingle with the faint tang of ancient piss. Down below, the Rock, the old citadel of the Grimaldi family, juts out into the Mediterranean. Red roofs glow above the white walls. The sun shines on the sheer cliff face on which the old city of Monaco sits, turning the bare rock a blinding white. I finish and zip up and step out with dripping hands, back into the sun.

Alternatively Parisian
Prior to moving to Paris I had a very clear image of what my life was going to be like for six months; endless baguettes, a new-acquired sense of fashion and thousands of cafe cremes in cute places. It is safe to say that I was excited to unleash my inner french woman, one of class, elegance and a certain je-ne-sais-quoi.

Prague: Fear and Beauty
We came late to Prague. By the time we made our way to the red-roofed city, the path to the east had already been well beaten by hordes of budget travelers and lairy British stag parties. An influx of foreign tourists has pushed Prague close to the top of the list of Europe's most visited cities, with all the opportunities and problems that kind of popularity creates for the local residents.
